We never ask for your FMCSA PIN, SSN or bank info. File your forms free on the official .gov sites.
Why watch your public record?
Brokers check your public FMCSA record before they give you a load. If it shows the wrong thing, you lose work.
Insurance that drops off
After FMCSA moved to its new Motus system in 2026, some carriers' insurance filings went missing from the public data even though they were insured.
Authority and status changes
Get an email if your operating authority, "allowed to operate" or out-of-service status changes.
Deadlines that sneak up
A missed MCS-150 can get your USDOT number deactivated. We remind you 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before.

Questions
How is my MCS-150 due date figured out?
Federal rules (49 CFR 390.19) set it from your USDOT number: the last digit is the month (1 = January … 9 = September, 0 = October), and the next-to-last digit decides odd or even years. You must update every two years, even if nothing changed.
Do you file anything for me?
No. We watch and remind. You file free on the official FMCSA, UCR and IFTA sites. Be careful of companies that charge to file forms that are free.
Where does the record data come from?
FMCSA's public data service, the same public record brokers see. It can lag a few days or have errors, so always confirm an alert in your FMCSA account before acting.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime from your account page. No phone calls.
